DAY 1::

Chandigarh::

Well, it is my first visit to Chandigarh and I will be honest, it is one of the most beautiful cities of India. You can take a direct flight from Bangalore .I reached Chandigarh by evening and checked into the Aroma in Sector 22. The stay was excellent and relaxing then i visited Sukna lake

Day 2::

Sukna Lake::

Sukna lake is one of the most beautiful places in chandigarh. The lake is 3 km long and was created in the year 1958. People visit this place in the morning/evening to enjoy the cool breeze and the beauty of nature. i spend the whole evening next to the lake its a nice experience.

 

 

Rock Garden::

 

 

Started the day with Rock garden .An epitome of creativity, imagination and innovation, Chandigarh’s rock garden is one of its kind which consists of various art objects. The best part about the rock garden is that each of its artwork has been made by using industrial & urban waste. The garden was founded by Nek Chand in 1957 and spreads over 40 acres. The sculptures mostly resemble animals and humans, but some are great examples of abstract art.

 

Rose Garden::

 

After Rock garden i visited Rose garden . Park exhibits some of the rarest and exquisite varieties of roses which is spread over 30 acres of land, with 1600 different species. The garden not only has roses, but also trees of medicinal value. Its a nice place to visit in the morning.

 

DAY 3::

Kurukshetra::

Stared from Chandigarh at 8 reached Kurukshetra around 10 am .i spend the whole day in Kurukshetra covered lot of places Bramha  Sarovar,Sri Krishna Museum and Jyotisar Birthplace of Bhagavad Gita and Bhishma Kund till 5 pm.then i moved to Ambala

 

 

Day3::

Ambala

Started the Day visiting Amba Devi temple,Ambala market and Ambala contt then i moved to patiala

Patiala

Patiala i covered Qila mubbarak ,Baradari Garden and lunch in Baradari palace stared moving towards Anandpur sahid

Patiala a Nice Heritage town in Punjab

 

Day4

Started the day with Naina Devi temple

Naina Devi ::

The Temple of Shri Naina Devi Ji is situated on a hilltop, base of which also has samadhi of bhagat Jatt Jeona Morh, in the Bilaspur District, Himachal Pradesh, India. The temple is connected with National Highway No. 21. The temple at the top of the hill can be reached via road (that curves round the hill up to a certain point) and then by concrete steps (that finally reach the top). There is also a cable car facility that moves pilgrims from the base of the hill all the way to the top.

The hills of Naina Devi overlook the Gobind Sagar lake. The lake was created by the Bhakra-Nangal Dam.

 

After Naina Devi i started moving towards Bhakra Dam.

Bhakra Dam

Bhakra Dam is one of beautiful Dam in India nice view for backwaters (Govid Sagar reservoir)

Bhakra Dam is a concrete gravity dam on the Sutlej River in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh in northern India. The dam forms the Gobind Sagar reservoir. The dam, located at a gorge near the upstream Bhakra village in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh of height 226 m.

After Bhakra dam i started moving towards a Great City Amritsar

 

Day5:

 

Amritsar 

started day 5 visiting Golden temple ,jallianwala bagh,Azadi museum and Wagah border .

 

Day 6 : Returned to Bangalore
