Day1::
Started the trip from HBR layout around 9 am then i reached mysore road within an hour.Traffic was comparatively less reached chanapatana around 11 am and had breakfast at shivali restaurant (Authentic Idly/vada) then i moved towards KRS via mandya and Srirangapatana and reached the destination (approx 12:30 pm).
KRS
The Krishna Raja Sagara Dam (KRS Dam) was built across river Kaveri, the life giving river for the Mysore and Mandya districts.It was built in 1924 by Sir M.Vishveswariah, using ‘surkhi’, a mixture of limestone and brick powder instead of cement. Apart from being the main source of water for irrigation in the most fertile Mysore and Mandya, the reservoir is the main source of drinking water for all of Mysore city and almost the whole of Bangalore city, the capital of the state of
Karnataka.The Krishna Raja Sagar Dam of Mysore is approximately 8600 feet long and 130 feet high with a reservoir spread around an area of 130 sq.kms.It is constructed at the confluence of three rivers Kaveri, Hemavati and Lakshmanatirtha.

I covered both KRS and Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple(Once underwater, this large 12th-century Hindu temple was restored in a serene, riverfront setting.) then i moved towards Mysore i stayed in one the oldest Hotel (Hotel Metropole Mysore)
Day2
I started Day2 covering Mysore palace it will take around 2 hours then i moved to Chamundi Hills had temple darshan Goddess Chamundeshwari (Time:: It will take around 2 hrs).
From chamundi Hills i reached Nanjangud around 3 pm .
Nanjangud is known for Srikanteshwara Temple ::During monsoon the crowd will be very less i doesnt take much time for Darshan.

Day3
i stared(8 am) from mysore metropole towards Bandipur and reached bandipur around 10 am.
i was on a wildlife safari through the Bandipur national park till 5 pm.
