As promised in our previous newsletter last month, we have released our latest feature: the multi-touch, multi-point distance measurement tool, Perimeter.
This is especially useful when you want to get a rough estimate of the total distance you would travel on a multicity tour. It comes in handy when you don’t want to create an exact route but simply want to validate the distances between various places of interest.
Sometimes, when a trip is already created or being created (a dynamic trip loaded in the planner), the tool helps to see the smaller circuits you can cover at your stopover points.
It is not only useful for large distances like intercity travel, but also for measuring smaller distances, such as your daily walking track, as shown in the header image. Google also offers this tool, but for some reason, it is not available on mobile devices.
